NAB Qantas Business Signature Card: Qantas Points, Fees & Fit
This card is most relevant when Qantas Business Rewards aligns with the company’s travel and redemption habits. The higher annual fee makes reward utilisation more important than it would be on a lower-cost card.
NabConn never asks for NAB Connect credentials
Use an official NAB-operated service for account authentication. Do not send NabConn your NAB Connect User ID, password, PIN, token code, one-time passcode, full card details or online-banking credentials.
Current Rates and Fees
NAB currently publishes a $295 annual fee per card, 19.50% p.a. purchase rate, 21.74% p.a. cash-advance rate and $5,000 minimum facility credit limit.
Qantas Business Rewards
Eligible spend can earn Qantas Points under the product rules. NAB’s current material also states that Qantas Points are capped at $50,000 of spend per card per statement period.
Travel Value Depends on Redemption
Qantas Points do not have one guaranteed cash-equivalent value. Businesses should evaluate how they actually redeem points rather than multiplying the earn rate by an assumed valuation.
Do Not Ignore Cash-Flow Cost
If balances are carried, interest can be a much larger financial factor than rewards. Card choice should fit the company’s repayment behaviour.
Who This May Suit — and Who Should Look Elsewhere
Potential fit
- The business already participates meaningfully in Qantas Business Rewards.
- Travel and redemption patterns can justify the higher annual fee.
Consider another option if
- You do not value Qantas Points.
- Your main objective is a low annual fee or low ongoing purchase rate.
